A joint initiative of Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) Automotive Partnership, Future Climate Australia, RACV and EPA Victoria, Greenwheels is an easy-to-use online guide to the greenhouse emissions of all new passenger cars sold in Australia. Greenwheels ranks vehicles by their greenhouse gas emissions and provides information about the impact of technologies and fuels on climate change.

Anyone contemplating purchasing a new vehicle this is invaluable! For people who place low emissions as a high priority in evaluating the pro's and cons of purchasing one car over another, then this site is a good place to begin. Am currently looking to purchase a car and this will be very helpful along with the Green Vehicle Guide. Note: I rated it four stars on the 'Easy to use' as the layout of the site is easy, but the vehicle based jargon may baffle some!
