The EcoCentre provides a complete veggie garden solution for business. We consult with your staff to find an appropriate small space (as little as 1 square meter to start) and help them set up a vegetable and herb garden. (We provide all materials too). The garden attracts participating staff into the fresh air at lunchtime to tend the garden. It also teaches them about gardening for food. It can provide the lunchroom with endless fresh salad, vegetables and herbs as well as providing a use for lunchroom waste which can be recycled into fertiliser, using a worm farm on site (which then feeds the vegetables. Staff are often inspired to take this knowledge back home and start a veggie garden there too (even on an apartment balcony), thus disseminating the knowledge, gained at the office, to family and friends. Employers enhance their Green credentials and inspire staff.
