Change2 is a suite of online tools that encompasses staff education, engagement and behavioural change. Change2 helps businesses improve their environmental, social and economic sustainability. Given the real and current risk posed by climate change, and the discussion on mechanisms for applying a real cost to carbon (such as emissions trading and taxes), environmental sustainability, and in particular reducing carbon emissions is a key strategic goal of many organisations. While many organisations have started investing in re-engineering their businesses for the low carbon economy, most realise that staff engagement and behaviour change is fundamental to the success of such a large scale change, and that education is at the core of this, however few organisations have made substantial progress in this area.

Our Change2 Advisory Panel, which consists of Sustainability and Learning and Development managers from 20 of the country’s largest employers, have consistently informed us that staff education and engagement was their biggest long-term barrier to successful implementation of more sustainable business practices.
