Waste signage provides the opportunity for both efficient streaming of waste, effective diversion of recyclable items from the landfill waste stream and also the opportunity for staff education.

How
Look on the What Can I Do Right Now website for generic waste and recycling signs that you can use in your business to assist in separating different types of waste and promoting waste-minimisation.

How we calculate this

It is assumed that businesses could divert 10% of their current waste away from landfill. Waste currently accounts for 11.491tCO2-e per year. (11 491 /0.1 = 1149.1kgCO2-e)
