Install a solar PV system or wind turbine

Installing solar panels or a wind turbine at your business means you can create your own energy.

Why

Creating your own energy reduces your carbon footprint by reducing your business' reliance on polluting forms of electricity generation.

Until the end of June 2010, the Solar Credits Scheme, run by the Federal Government, are offering small businesses a generous rebate on solar electricity systems of 1.5kW and higher. The rebate figure is subject to the market prices of Renewable Energy Certificates but can be between $4000 -$5000. The scheme also applies to wind generators.

How

There are many different solar panel and wind turbine options available on the market. Do your research to find the right system for your needs. A good place to start is with your energy retailer.
