Encourage fuel-efficient driving practices
Fuel-efficient driving practices include educating your staff to drive smoothly, and carrying out regular maintenance.
Why
You can reduce fuel consumption by around 10% on road travel, and lower your maintenance costs through reduced wear and tear on the engine, gearbox, clutch and differential.
How
Educate drivers how to drive vehicles to minimise fuel use; include actions such as driving smoothly and vehicle maintenance that help reduce fuel use. This could be included in staff or driver inductions.
