Third Ecology strives to find environmentally and socially responsible processes and products in every function of our office and projects. We have dedicated recycling collection for all waste types generated in the office including paper, cardboard, plastics, polystyrene, bottles and cans. We also have a bokashi system to compost all food waste generated from the office. Being an architectural company, we print a lot of plans and documents and for this we use soy based inks and 100% post consumer recycled paper, using double sided printing wherever possible but encourage electronic document transfers as a first option. Staff members also identify local recycle opportunities for items from home such as light globes, batteries, CDs and video cassettes.
